January 9: Sully, Miracle on the HudsonPilot, Sully Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) makes a spectacular landing on the Hudson River on January 15, 2009. Directed by Clint Eastwood. 

February 13: Hidden Figures Incredible true story about a group of brilliant African-American women mathematicians working for NASA on the Mercury program in the early 1960's.

March 13: 1941Steven Spielberg's wild comedy extravaganza set Los Angeles after the attack on Pearl Harbor. John Belushi and Dan Akroyd lead an all-star cast of screwball characters during the pandemonium.

April 10: Wings for Maggie Ray: Inspiring true story of Margaret "Maggie" Ringenberg, WASP Pilot during World War II and accomplished long distance aviation racer. 

May 8: Dunkirk: Award winning director Christopher Nolan's epic depiction of the evacuation of Dunkirk by British and French forces in May of 1940 from many different perspectives.

12: The Blue Angels: New behind the scenes look at the rigorous training Navy and Marine Pilots go through in their quest to be the best in the elite Blue Angels flying demonstration teem.

July 10: Flying the Feathered Edge: The amazing life story of air show performer, fighter pilot, and test pilot Bob Hoover, who many in aviation consider one of the best pilots of all time. 

August 14: Red Tail Reborn: Emmy award winning documentary about the first African-American fighter pilots of World War II and the restoration of a special P-51C fighter by the Red Tail Project. Narrated by Michael Dorn. 

September 11: Behind Enemy LinesNaval Pilot (Owen Wilson) is shot down during Bosnian campaign and his commanding officer (Gene Hackman) organizes a rescue. Loosely based on a 1995 incident. 

October 9: The Red Baron: Story of the greatest Ace of World War I, Manfred von Richthofen, and his incredible exploits in the air and the brutal realities of aerial combat over the trenches. 

November 13: The Blue Max: During WWI a young German Ace (George Peppard) battles to prove himself in combat and against prejudices of his high born fellow pilots, while going after the coveted German air medal.

December 11: Wake Island: After the Pearl Harbor attack, Marines battle Japanese forces on the beleaguered Wake Island in a last ditch heroic stand.
